This Adapter is cheaper, more efficient and stress-free over the inconvenience of $12.00 batteries every month. I recommend everyone to buy this Adapter instead of wasting money on 8 batteries. You'd be saving a lot of money in the long run. I had to use 8 batteries @ every month or two (for the last three years) to keep my unit running.now, by using this new CASIO AD-A12280L AC Adapter CW-75, I have no more worries or concerns. It was very easy to plug into my unit, and everything is bliss.
It will go through batteries really quickly. The power cord is definitely needed for this unit.
The overall unit/cable works erffortlessly and awesome. I didn't realize how much this cable was needed. Cable works fantastic. The printer drinks the batteries, so it's very nice not having to worry about replacing batteries anymore.
Problem solved. I Recently purchased disk printer, it came without adapter. This was exactly what i needed.
